In today’s world the cobbles would be very useful as they would slow down automobiles, once banned on the Island and allow for water seepage to and to the continued support of the clay cliff bluff. By the way automobiles were banned from Nantucket mostly because of the noise and the reaction of animals to the noise. The Tesla would not have caused this noise.
In this issue we discuss reunions. This time of year is always a popular time for reunions whether gathering to celebrate graduations, weddings, honeymoons or festivals. It is always a time of excitement and joy -and Nantucket is just the spot-…time to be together and time to serenely stroll the twining flowering paths down crooked lanes and sandy beaches. We also talk about Nathaniel Philbrick and his new book.
