“The charming, renown, historic Cliff Road starts four (4) houses below Century House!!! — not only the oldest continuously operating inn on Nantucket Island but also awarded Best Nantucket Bed and Breakfast Inn by the luxury magazine, Cape Cod Life. Another 9 houses North from Century House you traverse over the site of the elegant lady of hospitality, The Sea Cliff Inn. Built in 1886, it towered over the cliff during the heyday of Nantucket’s grand hotels, and survived until 1972 when it was razed to make way for the “mega mansions.”
