Priced to entice, the Bucket of Sketching Stay offers a two week-night and
three week-night
stay at the Century House, with mornings of art instruction from

constellations and observations through telescopes. Observe the
night sky and its' wonders through the telescope at the Loines

all events are offered on all week-days so ask for specifics when
you reserve. Guests handle their own travel arrangements with most
events within walking distance or a shuttle bus trip away.
Each 3 weeknight
package includes one day
admittance tickets for two persons and start from $225* nightly, 1-2

Internationally Renown Whaling Museum, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The Century House celebrates the
unveiling
of the new Whaling Museum complete with candle factory & spectacular
harbor views from the
rooftop observatory.
Daily: Beachcombing
Field Trips, 2:00 PM. Explore our island
beach with Maria Mitchell Association naturalists.
Each day of the week, walk a different beach.
Monday, Wednesday: Open Nights
at Loines Observatory, 9:00 am. Guided tour of the
constellations and observations
through telescopes. Weather permitting.
Monday, Thursday: Marine
Ecology Field Trips, 10:00 am. Wade through harbors & salt marshes using nets to
identify
marine organisms.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: Tour of
the Vestal Street Observatory, 11:00 am. Guided
tour, outdoor solar system
model and sunspot observations.
Tuesday, Thursday: Birding Field Trip, 6:30 am. Travel the Island’s diverse habitats to discover
first hand the variety of
birds that call Nantucket home.
Wednesday: Wildflower Ecology Field Trips, 6:00 pm. Explore the wildflowers and ecology of
Nantucket with Dr. Bob
Kennedy.
