"The Century House located a couple of blocks from the bustle of town on Cliff Road, fits the mold, with weathered shingles, white picket fence, wraparound porch and planters overflowing with hydrangeas, geraniums and pansies.  The rooms, outfitted with canopy beds and decorative fireplaces, have a toned-down Victorian appeal, but the real draw at the inn is the veranda, an always breezy and quiet respite..."

"One of the highlights is the immense wraparound verandah complete with rocking chairs,
where you could relax away an afternoon if you like. "

“This year marks the 10th year since I've been coming to the Century House.  I look forward to sitting on the verandah as I am enjoying Gerry's-Berry-Buffet-Breakfast and rice pudding.”
